Performance characteristics of titanium flanges

High specific strength

The flanges are extremely strong. Only 60% as dense as steel, titanium possesses a density that is around 4.51g/cm3. Pure grades are similar in density to standard steel. High thermal strength

Types of flanges

In some instances, it is possible to machine it so it accepts nominal sized pipes to which you are making a welded or threaded reduction.
